Upgrading Your Time Clock

We're excited for you to use TimeClick 2020 (TC20) to improve your time tracking experience!
There are some great new features added with more on the way. Upgrading is a simple process that only takes a couple minutes per computer.

System requirements: The TimeClick server and workstation must be on Windows 7 or newer/Windows Server 2008 or newer.

Upgrade Instructions

TimeClick Server

  1. Perform a backup of your database, instructions can be found here
  2. Download the upgrade file
  3. Run the upgrade installer
  4. Click through the install wizard
  5. Open TimeClick
  6. Call, email, or live chat with our support team with the following info to register your new version:
    • Company Name
    • Your Name
    • Phone Number
    • TC20's Serial Number (found by clicking Days Left on Trial in TC20)

    We will respond with your registration code within one business day

  1. Download the upgrade file
  2. Run the upgrade installer
  3. Click through the install wizard
  4. Open TimeClick
