We are pleased to announce the release of TimeClick version 2019! For this first TimeClick 2019 (TC19) release in January, there are some exciting features added to the software. Below are notes on the major changes.
New Time and Attendance Software Features
Dashboard Reports
With TimeClick’s new dashboard reports, the Admin knows at a glance how much each employee has worked in the week, attendance and punctuality habits, and how much each employee added to payroll costs.
Approaching Overtime (OT) Report – Quickly view how many hours an employee has worked and how close they are to overtime. Adjust the report to see data for different days, weeks, and employees.
Punctuality Report – For employees with a consistent schedule, the Admin can set up a “Clock Schedule” to track punctuality habits for better employee time management. This visual dashboard report adjusts its pie chart to show the Admin punctuality information for individual employees and for their entire workforce.
Attendance Report – Ever wonder what your attendance rate is? You can now see the chart for what percentage of time your employees were absent or present. Again, easily adjust the report to view different time periods, employees, or everyone at once.
Payroll Projection – Never question how much employee hours will cost you or how much each employee cost during any given payroll. Using employee wage rate info provided by the Admin and hours worked, this visual report displays a projected payroll cost for each employee and the office as a whole.
Note: this is a projection based solely on the information TimeClick is given by the Admin and the hours logged by employees. Any bonuses or pay not directly related to hours worked must be added to the costs projected by TimeClick. TimeClick is not responsible for payroll mistakes or pay discrepancies resulting from human error or failure to use the proper payroll software.
Payroll Info
Yes, you can finally store wage and salary rates in TimeClick! In each employee’s record, enter the Detailed Info tab and utilize the appropriate fields for Hourly Rate or Salary. TimeClick also accommodates different rates for multiple jobs and/or departments and an employee is assigned to more than one. More details are provided in the Payroll Projection report section.
Payroll Projection Report
Get the details on your employees’ hours with an estimation of their payroll cost based on those hours in one report. This report has flexible settings allowing the Admin to view all hours data with the payroll projection numbers or just totals with payroll projections. The payroll cost estimations are based on the hourly wage (not salary) rates assigned to hours worked within the time clock program. For more details, read our in-depth Payroll Projection report article.
Attendance Report
Say hello to a detailed, attendance-focused report. If all you want is attendance data, this report is yours. And, if you are tracking an employee’s punctuality with the employee “Clock Schedule”, the punctuality information is also represented visually on the Attendance report.
In the Report Center, select the Attendance report from the “Select a Report” drop-down menu, choose everything you want to see on the report, and generate it. For a key to this report, view the article specific to the Attendance report.
Mac Workstation Installation
For all the Mac users out there, this one’s for you. TimeClick 2019 workstations can be installed on Mac workstation computers to connect to the TimeClick server located on a Windows PC.
Mass Entry Editing
Up until this point, if you created a mass entry for a holiday or another type of time and you made a mistake, you had to manually enter every employee’s modify times record to adjust or remove an incorrect mass entry. Now, you can edit that mass entry for all employees at once in one place. What used to take a bunch of time to undo a mistake in a mass entry can now take seconds.
